About Batts Farm
The original part of Batts Farm was built some 200 years ago in traditional local stone and during the years has been extended to form the beautiful farmhouse it is today.
We purchased the house in 1998 when the farmhouse and it’s farm land was auctioned off, since then each room has been lovingly restored retaining all the original features including Victorian fireplaces, sash windows and tilled floors. The house has been restored to an excellent standard and now offers impressive bed and breakfast facilities.
The large gardens are well established and split into three very different styles. The front garden sets this farmhouse out from its surroundings with a lovely blossoming cherry tree right out the front and a path leading to the front door.
The two gardens at the rear create a romantic and peaceful hideaway, choose from the walled garden with large lawn and summerhouse where you can relax and enjoy a drink, or sit in the romantic formal garden and watch the birds in the water feature.
There is plenty of parking at Batts Farm on the gravel drive-way and storage is available if you want to bring your bike, there are lots of flat, quiet lanes to cycle on.
A stay at Batts Farm will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.
All the rooms have been furnished to a high standard with your comfort in mind and offer 4 double bedrooms, all with a unique character, including a luxury four poster room.
The rooms are furnished and equipped with all the ingredients to make your stay an enjoyable one. All the food is made using local produce. Click on the menu button to see the Batts Farm breakfast specialities.
